Eliminate is the best multiplayer FPS on the iPhone. The classic four player deathmatch gameplay is enhanced with an RPG-style progression system which adds a great deal of depth to an otherwise simple game. From classic weapon variations like the plasma cannon and rocket launcher to experimental guns such as the anti-matter gun , there’s a nice mix suited to a range of tactical shooting tastes.

There are six guns in the game out of which only two of which can be carried into a match. You can change your load out before a match. Like all good games it is also possible to upgrade specific attributes on each gun as you level up. Enough talk lets see the guns.

1) Auto-Rifle

Damage : 1/6
Auto-Rifle is the standard combat firearm for all players. This is always good choice as a default weapon. The auto-rifle has a high rate of fire is fairly good as a long range weapon with the zoom out feature. Its a good spray and pray weapon coz of its high rate of fire. It does very little damage so if you try taking down a powerful foe with this, its gonna take a lot of time.

2) Plasma Cannon

Damage : 2/6
If you are a shotgun lover in FPS this is your gun. The plasma cannon uses multishot plasma nodes delivered at high speed to frag you foe. It is the weapon of choice for close combat and is quite powerful. Shots fired at longer distance does very little damage if you manage to hit your opponent.

3)Gravity Hook

Damage : 1/6
Gravity hook launches an auto-reeling tractor beam and is more of a tactical utility than a weapon. This weapon can aid you in pulling off special acrobatic manoeuvres by shooting the gravity hook to the walls and roof. Firing the gravity hook at any enemy pulls you to that player, then switch to Plasma Cannon and blow of the enemy in to bits.

4)Antimatter Jet

Damage : 3/6
It shoots out energy vortices which bounces of walls and ruptures on physical contact with a player. It does moderate damage with a fair rate of fire. It can cause a lot of damage in a closed environment where the anti-matter shells will ricochet of the wall.

5)Rocket Launcher

Damage : 6/6
Every fragger’s dream weapon. This weapons damage is the highest of all the weapons available to you. Rocket Launcher does not benefit from the targeting assistance and the aiming is dependent wholly on your input. The downfall of the weapon is its slow reload rate. It seems this weapon can shell out splash damage to those who are within close proximity of the impact radius of the shell.

6)Vaporizer

Damage : 4/6
This energy weapon utilize a high energy beam to fry your enemy. The beam takes a short time to charge up before it actually fires from the gun but since the laser comes out in a stream, you can fire and then quickly adjust to hit your target which make this weapon a huge threat at the hands of a good player.

Upgrades for Weapons :
All the weapons offers upgrades opportunity to make the weapon faster and deadlier. The various upgrade options are Damage , Clip Size, Rate of Fire, Zoom, Reload. these are self explanatory. Fire up the game and go to GEAR UP >> INVENTORY >> WEAPONS

The upgrade option available are restricted to levels , so you cant buy a weapon and max out its damage output at level 1.
