How many time have you come across developers giving away FREE iPhone apps to follows on twitter or fans on Facebook ? And most of the time you get one and try to download it you get a message saying that this code is only available for customers in the US. Today we see how us non US folks can claim these iPhone Apps Promo code and download free iPhone apps and games. Technically speaking you need a United States iTunes Account to use the Promo codes , there is no way around that but people living outside the USA can easily create an account. I live in Melbourne, Australia and I recently got 2 promo codes for Soccer Superstars from Gamevil. I will be show you how I downloaded the game to my device using the promo code. I will give away one promo code along with my review of the game.

Setting up a FREE iTunes US Account without a Credit Card
- Run iTunes on your PC, and select the US store from the bottom of the application.
- Search for a FREE App ( I suggest looking for the official Twitter app )
- Click on the Free App button below the app’s icon
- You will get a pop up, Click on Create New Account
- You will be asked to Accept the License Agreement and fill in your profile info
- Once you do all that you will be asked to add your Credit Card info , just choose NONE
- For your address you have to enter something valid ( I just Googled up some New York address and phone number )
- Check your E-Mail, for the verification email, cling on that and you all all set to go
Now you have to use the new iTunes US account on your phone and you can download the free app using your Promo Code
- Open up the App Store on your iPhone
- If you are signed in to the old iTunes Account , get out of that and sign in using the new iTunes Account you just created
- Go in to the Featured Page, Choose New from top and scroll down to the very end and click on Redeem
- Enter your code and Enjoy
