Flash on iPhone
Now you can enable Flash content to play on Apple’s iPod touch, iPhone, and iPad using SmokeScreen. According to the developers this is how it gets flash running on your iPhone
“It runs entirely in the browser, reads in SWF binaries, unzips them (in native JS), extracts images and embedded audio and turns them in to base64 encoded data:uris, then stitches the vector graphics back together as animated SVG.”
get it ? I didn’t .. but as long as flash works I am happy. But according to Engadget this works fine with Flash Ads on websites but when they looked at playing a flash video it was laggy. So in short you are going to see flash ads on websites and no video .. duh !! This is still in its early stages so here is hoping that Flash video will work properly in the final product.
