Semacode is a new QR Code scanner for the iPhone, it also has elegantly integrated history and maps. With fast real-time scanning, Semacode can instantly open web pages, dial numbers, and connect with people and businesses. This is a free app.

You need to create an account with Semacode.com ( you can do it easily through the app ) before you can start using the app. I tried it with an iPhone 3G and it didn’t quite work out for me. GlovePod
GlovePod is a new iPhone app for Jailbroken devices that allows you to control your iPhone or iPod music control with your Volume Buttons and your Power button while your device is locked. Pressing the Volume Down button will go to the previous track and pressing the Volume Up Button will go to the next track. By holding down the power button shortly, you can pause and play your music. This makes it incredibly easy to change songs with Gloves on during winter.
The app is available via Cydia on your jailbroken iPhone. More info on GlovePod ( via modmyi.com )
N64 Emulator by ZodTTD ( the aapp is called N64iPhone ), is now available via cydia for Jailbroken iPhones for a price taag of $2.50 and obviously ROMs are not included.

Imagine running Unreal Tournament on the iPhone. Well thanks to epic games it might be possible. According to
anandtech.com Epic Games have been working on an iPhone port of their Unreal Engine 3. ( Unreal Engine 3 is the core for many amazing games on Consoles and PC for years ).

It’ll still be a while before we see any games powered by the engine. Epic currently has no plans to get into the iPhone space for themselves, though they plan to license the engine some time in the near future.

ngmoco has updated Eliminate with all new content.
1) New Eliminate Weapon : DualCannon Prototype
The DualCannon packs two powerful blasts dealt in quick succession. More damage per plasma node than its Plasma Cannon cousin, but it takes longer to reload. Its a shame the game doesn’t show you damage / reload speed details when you buy a weapon. ( UPDATE : It only lasts 6 rounds )
2) New Eliminate Arena: RUNOFF
Get wet in RUNOFF, the new map features both land and water elements. Gain elevation in this vertically stacked map to snipe at players below – or dive into the water to escape fire and snag powerups. Runoff is great for gravity gunning, jumping, sniping, and swimming.

Bedlam in Snow
A holiday reskin of the Bedlam map. The floors are slippery and I had a go on this map, it was horrible. Avoid it if you can.
